New Flights to the Algarve Announced for 2011
20 December 2010
British Airlines has recently announced that they will be providing a new route connecting the Algarve to London, making travel to one of the most beautiful coasts in Europe even easier. The new connection is scheduled to start in June of 2011, and will take travellers directly from London City Airport to Faro Airport in the Algarve region of Southern Portugal. The new flights have been added in response to the increase in interest for holidays to this area and Algarve property for sale. The Algarve is the southernmost coast of Portugal, and is well known for its golden sand beaches, world class golf courses, and delicious wines.
The new flights will occur three times per week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Passengers will travel aboard a 98 seater Embraer 190 plane. These new flights mean that there are now more flights to the Algarve than there have ever been before, which will make things easier for those investing in Algarve property for sale, as well as making it more convenient for travellers to visit the Algarve coast.
The increase in flights to Faro airport makes the prospect of investing in Algarve property for sale even more desirable. The convenient and frequent travel opportunities mean that if your family chooses to relocate to a holiday home in Portugal, you can still easily get back to your home country to visit relatives anytime you like. Also, it will make it easier for your friends and family to come to the Algarve and visit you in your little slice of paradise.
British Airline's new flights make owning Algarve property even better, because you can enjoy the peace and isolation of the Algarve coast, while still being connected with the rest of the world.
