Turkey Hosts Formula One European Rounds

The 2011 Turkish Grand Prix is the fourth round in this year's Formula One season, and the world-famous race will be held in Istanbul on May 8th. This yearly race is a favourite event of the many residents, and is one of the factors that attract many car-racing fans to property for sale in Turkey.

The Formula One Grand Prix is held at Istanbul Park race track, which is one of the more challenging courses in the season and offers drivers its own set of one-of-a-kind challenges. Instead of the usual clockwise arrangement, the Istanbul road course has an anti-clockwise layout and features the infamous "Turn Eight". This feature, guaranteed to put a lump of fear in the throat of the most seasoned driver, is four left hand turns all strung together and is one of the most challenging corners on the F1 circuit.
