Why is Hurghada property such a good investment?
09 May 2011
The Red Sea Riviera has been popular with both holidaymakers and property investors for a long time, but one of the newer destinations is Hurghada where there are lots of interesting developments currently under construction.
At the moment prices here are still low, and there are some real bargains to be found. The town has an excellent mix of international and Egyptian culture and some of the new developments are in truly beautiful locations. It has a good range of activities to cater for most ages and tastes, including a lively nightlife and good shopping. There are a number of historical sites within easy reach of Hurghada, including the monasteries of St Paul and St Anthony and St Catherine.
Probably the largest attraction for holidaymakers and investors in this area is of course the Red Sea which offers some of the best diving in the world. It is also becoming increasingly popular with holidaymakers as a year-round destination, especially during the winter months -- boosted by its close proximity to Europe.
As it is still an emerging destination it is expected to offer property investors solid capital growth and high rental yields. At the moment properties are extremely affordable, and would represent a good opportunity for the first time investor who doesn't have a large amount of capital to spend. It's still one of Egypt's best kept secrets, and there is a large selection of luxury beachfront property available at low prices. However increasing interest in Hurghada property for sale will almost certainly equate to rising property prices in the very near future.
